After the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters, I was inspired to do a poster series featuring the three Spider-Men featured in that movie: Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. All of them have unique costumes and super villains in their movies, and I wanted to focus on those aspects of each Spider-Man. I grew up with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man movies and saw Andrew Garfield's and Tom Holland's movies as I got older too! These films hold a special place in my heart, and each Spidey brings something awesome to the table while still capturing the heart of the character in some way. For these posters, I wanted each one to be distinct, but also cohesive with the others. So they all feature one of the three Spider-Men, their alternate costumes, and their iconic villains getting ready to attack!
Each poster was sketched and inked by hand. Fleshing out the various textures and materials was a blast for me! The positioning and composition of the villains in each poster were especially fun to play around with. They were finished off with digital coloring in Procreate. The text under the final posters was also done digitally in Procreate.
